Established in 1994 with our first bitch from the Heyda’s in Barnstaple, Devon – Wrekhome Red Robin. Our affix was granted in 1997 and is an anagram of Puriton the village where we previously lived.

Then came “Maisie” our foundation bitch – Winuwuk Lulu (litter sister to Champion Winuwuk Celebration), she had her one and only litter in February 1999, which produced Ruption Blue Lagoon who stayed with us and Ruption Wishfull Thinking who went to Jo and Phil Cole (Myntie Boxers). Both of her progeny were consistently placed at Championship shows and Open shows.

In 2002 Ruption Blue Lagoon was mated to Harbour Master of Seefeld and she produced – Ruption Chaos Calmer who remained with us, Ruption Hell Bender who lives with the Coles and Ruption Blueberry Rumba who resides with Ann Isaac. Lulu (Chaos Calmer) was placed 1st in her class at Crufts in 2004.

Then in 2003 along came Marty – Knightcott I Never Thought of Ruption owned in partnership with his breeder Sue Hale, he is by Ruption Wishfull Thinking for Myntie ex Seefeld Mary Rose of Knightcott. He had an outstanding puppy career, qualified for Crufts 2005 at his first championship show and was Best Puppy in Show at Plymouth and District Canine Society Open Show under all rounder judge Clare Coxall.
